★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 7 reviews · 3 hours · from $94Our pick

Spend three hours in Addis Ababa with an English-speaking guide such as Musse, then settle in for injera, doro wat, tibs, local drinks, Ethiopian music, and traditional dance at Yod Abyssinia. Pickup and return transportation are included, and the private format suits couples, families, or small groups.

“Must do if you go to Addis Ababa. If you’re into culture, then the singing, dancing and food is surely something you need to witness. It’s one of the most eventful things I did while in Addis Ababa, and something I recommend all to experience. I even was invited on stage to do some dancing which was fun to record for my family and friends back home.”

Addis Night Life yod Abissinia

2.Addis Night Life yod Abissinia

★★★★★★★★★★3.8 · 4 reviews · from $33Best value

Join an English- or French-speaking guide for an evening of Ethiopian culture in Addis Ababa. Begin with a coffee ceremony in a local home, taste honey wine at a tej bet, then watch and learn traditional dances at Yod Abissinia around 8pm. An optional club or pub stop may follow.

“Great night out to check out the Yod Abyssinia Traditional Restaurant. Tasting, presentation, show, and tradition come together in a small evening. The guide (sorry I forgot the first name) was really nice, showed us around the city, talked about the country's news, and so on... We left and headed back to my hotel.”
